It contains 3 ingredients namely Shuddha Sarja Rasa, Arishtaka and Soorana having Purishvaha Strotas and Gudaghata Gamitava hence indicated in various Gudaghata Vyadi and Anorectal disorders.
Shuddha Sarja Rasa (Vateria indica) have Kashaya Tikta Rasa, Virya Sheeta, Vipaka Katu, and Snigdha Guna thus acting as Vata-Kaphaghna, it reduces Kandu and Raktastraav. Arishtaka (Sapindus trifoliatus) has Tikta Katu Rasa, Virya Ushna, Vipaka Katu, and Laghu Tikshna Guna it reduces Shoola and Shootha and has Vranaropak Karma.
Soorana (Amorphophallus campanulatus) also known as Arshoghan have katu kashaya rasa, virya ushna, vipaka katu, laghu, ruksha tikshna guna, prabhava is arshogna. It has deepan, pachan, and arshoghan karma and is kapha vata shamaka.
