Properties and uses
- It is used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and ascites.
- Reputed for external application in dropsy. In dropsy due to any cause, apply cold or warm. May be used on the head suitably as prescribed by vaidya.
Doses and anupan
- The affected skin area is applied with panchamla oil, left as it is for 10 – 15 minutes, then washed with luke warm water. This oil is also advised to apply before bath.
- Panchamla oil is used for external applications only.
Side effects
There are no side effects as applied externally only.
Shelf life
Three years from the date of manufacturing.
It is advised to consume within one year after the opening of the container.
