Dhootapapeshwar Mahayograj Guggul is a herbo-mineral formulation in tablet form mentioned in ayurvedic texts by Acharyas designed for the effective treatment of Vataj disorders. It pacifies all three doshas (vata, pitta, kapha) and is a potent rejuvenator.
Due to its versatile nature, it is used in osteoarthritis, gout, sciatica, backache, stiffness and pain, and swelling associated with these conditions, epilepsy, digestive disorders, respiratory disorders, bronchitis, menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, seminal disorder and other conditions like diabetes, eye-related disorder, anemia, piles, fistula, infertility.
Mahayograj guggul also gives promising results in conditions in which vata is associated with predominance of AMA (which is a toxin produced by the body due to indigestion and malabsorption) by improving digestion. Due to this property, it is used in rheumatoid arthritis. In ayurveda medicines are named according to their specific properties or features. In mahayograj guggul maha is used because it contains bhasmas and other herbal composition is same as yograj guggul.
