Properties and uses:
- 1.Good for the digestive system, appetite
- 2.Digestive problems like gastritis, food allergies or intolerances
- 3.Helpful in jaundice, the liver diseases, anemia, dyspepsia, constipation
- 4.Improves immunity to fight infections
- 5.In Pitta disorder.
Dosages and Anupan:
Traditionally, it is administered in the quantity that one’s palm can hold.
5-10 grams before or after meal along with water or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
Dosage for children
below 5 years of age – 1-2 grams,
between 5-12 years of age 5 grams
once or twice a day along with a tablespoon of honey or warm water / milk.
Side Effects:
It contains sugar, it should be avoid to give diabetic patients.
