Dhootpapeshwar Kravyad Rasa is a renowned herbomineral preparation composed of 14 potent herbal and mineral ingredients (9 herbal and 5 mineral ingredients). The Sanskrit word 'Kravyad' means Crow, As the name suggests the medicine on consumption exceptionally increases the 'Jatharagni', the digestive fire making all the heavy food items digest and assimilate properly as well as quickly as a crow can digest all the consumed food items immediately without many efforts.

It is an excellent 'Agni Deepak', Ama pachak(digests the undigested materials and removes the blockage in the microchannels of circulation), Soolaghna(relieves pain sensation) and it is very effective in Indigestion and 'Aamajanya vikar'(diseases due to accumulated waste materials in the body) developed due to excessive stress, anxiety and also due to the consumption of excess oily and heavy food items.

It is a unique therapeutic formulation where Shuddha Parada(Purified mercury) and Shuddha Gandhak(purified sulphur) are combined together to form a Kajjali (black sulphide of mercury) it is then potentiated with Tamra Bhasma and made into parpati by placing it on the leaves of 'Eranda'(Ricinus communis).

It is then powdered and transferred into an iron pot containing lemon juice and heated to a low flame. When the mixture gets dried it is powdered again and subjected to a procedure called 'Bhavana' (trituration) where the prepared product is triturated in each of pippali, pippalimula, chavya, chitrak, sunthi, amlavetasa kwath.

Now add shuddha tankan, maricha choorna and Bida lavana it is then triturated in chanaka Kshar 7 times and finally made into a tablet form. Kravyad Rasa is also useful in all sorts of Kapha Vata dominant disorders with symptoms like Indigestion, loss of appetite, weakness, heaviness, loss of strength, lethargy, continuous spitting and constipation.
