Elakanadi Kwath: is an Ayurvedic formulation of Kwath that is prepared from a mixture of medicinal herbs. It's effective in asthma, bronchitis, allergy and improves immunity.
This is an Ayurvedic formulation of Kwath that is prepared from a mixture of medicinal herbs. In which one of the important herbs is Ela which is also known as cardamom is enriched with properties like digestion carminative diuretics and many more.
Ingredients:
1. Ela Elettaria cardamomum 1 Part
2. Kana. Piper longum 1 Part
3. Madhuka Glycyrhiza glabra 1 Part
4. Nagara. Zingiber officinale 1 Part
5. Abda. Cyperus rotundus 1 Part
6. Vasa Adhatoda vasica 1 Part
7. Nimba Azadirachta indica 1 Part
8. Amruta. Tinospora cordifolia 1 Part
9. Ambu. Coleus vettiveroides 1 Part
10. Dashamoola. ( 10 Roots ) 1 Part
Properties and Uses:
This Ayurvedic kwath is effective in asthama, bronchitis, allergy and improves immunity and according to Ayurveda in Rajayakshma, swasa, kasa, aruchi and balya.According to dosas Tridoshahara especially kaphavatahara also act on agni and helps in Pachana and Deepana.
Dosage and Anupan:
About 5 to 15 ml of this kwath is diluted within 15 to 45 ml of water twice , daily before food with
Laksha choorna, Sugar and jeeraka.
Side effects:
There is no side effects yet reported and is safe to use.
Shelf life time: Maximum upto 3 years from the date of manufacturing.
