Multani Arjunarishta - Antihypertensive, Cardiotonic, Respiratory-Tonic, Stress-Buster and Antioxidant.
Multani Arjunarishta is one of the most advised Ayurvedic cardiotonic formulations of Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) which contains 5 to 10% self-generated alcohol produced by fermentation of herbal decoctions.
Properties and Uses
- Antihypertensive, Cardiotonic, Respiratory-tonic, Stressbuster, and Antioxidant.
Dosage and Anupan
- 15 – 30 ml once or twice a day with an equal quantity of water, usually advised to be taken after meals.
Side Effects:
- Although side effects are not common but should be taken under a physician’s supervision.
- Jaggery in it may increase blood sugar levels in diabetics.
Shelf Life
10 years. Consume the bottle within 2 months after opening.
