Vidangarishta helps in improves Metabolism & Digestion, Urinary Calculus, Various Ano-Rectal Disorders, Cervical Lymphadenitis, Torticollis, Locked Jaw, etc.
Multani Vidangarishta is one of the most advised classical Ayurvedic formulations of Vidanga (Embelia Ribes) which contains 5 to 10% self-generated alcohol produced by fermentation of herbal decoctions.
Properties and Uses:
It acts as Deepan-Pachan (improves metabolism and digestion), helps in Vidradhi (Abscess), Asmari (Urinary calculus), Arsha-Bhagandara (Various Ano-rectal disorders), Gandamala (Cervical lymphadenitis), Torticollis, Locked jaw, etc.
Dosage and Anupan:
15 – 30 ml once or twice a day with an equal quantity of water, usually advised to be taken after meals.
Side Effects:
Side effects are not common with this medication.
Shelf Life:
10 years. Consume the bottle within 2 months after opening.
