Multani Laxmanarishta - Gynecological disorders like menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, irregular and heavy periods.
Multani Laxmanarishta is a traditional Ayurvedic remedy for gynecological disorders from Bhaishajya Ratnawali which contains Laxmana (Annona muricate) as its main ingredient. It is a fermented liquid preparation which contains an aqueous solution which contains about 5 to 10% of self-generated alcohol which helps in dissolutions of active components of herbs.
Properties and Uses:
Gynecological disorders like menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, irregular and heavy periods.
Dosage and Anupan:
15-20 ml twice a day after meals, mixed with an equal quantity of water.
Side Effects:
In higher doses and in conditions of absence of menstrual periods, it may lead to Amenorrhoea.
Shelf Life:
10 years. Once opened, a bottle should be consumed within 45 days.
