Vaidyaratnam Ayurvedic Product - Kutajarishtam
It helps in strengthening intestines, improves digestion, useful in bleeding disorders, diarrhea, dysentery, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, sprue, etc.
Vaidyaratnam Abhayarishtam is one of the most commonly prescribed Ayurvedic aqueous composition comprising 5 to 10% self-generated alcohol. It has Kutaj (Holarrhena antidysenterica) as one of the main ingredients which are a potent remedy for gastrointestinal disorders.
Properties and Uses:
It helps in strengthening intestines, improves digestion, useful in bleeding disorders, diarrhea, dysentery, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, sprue, etc.
Dosage and Anupan:
It should be taken in a dose not more than 2-4 tsp (15-30 ml) at a time, along with an equal quantity of water.
Side Effects:
A single dosage of more than 50 ml causes constipation.
Shelf Life:
10 years. A bottle should be emptied within 90 months of opening.
