Vaidyaratnam Jeerakarishtam is useful in Vataj Roga, Mandagni, and Daurbalya. It is indicated in various Nervine and Rheumatic disorders.
Vaidyaratnam Jeerakarishtam is one of the most commonly prescribed Ayurvedic aqueous composition comprising 5 to 10% self-generated alcohol. It has Jeeraka (Cuminum cyminum) as one of the main ingredients which are a potent remedy for Vataj disorders.
Properties and Uses:
It is useful in Vataj Roga, Mandagni and Daurbalya.
It is indicated in various Nervine and Rheumatic disorders.
Dosage and Anupan:
It should be taken in a dose not more than 2-4 tsp (15-30 ml) at a time, along with an equal quantity of water.
Side Effects:
A single dosage of more than 50 ml causes gastrointestinal disturbances and diarrhea.
Shelf Life:
10 years. A bottle should be emptied within 90 months of opening.
