This is an Ayurvedic formulation is in water decoction form. It is mainly used in treating fever and abdominal disorders. It is also known as Indukantam kashayam. It is used to treat abdominal spasms, intestinal gas, bloating, abdominal distension and loss of appetite. It provides strength, increases immunity and improves complexion and glow. A research conducted on Indukantam kashayam detected carbohydrates, phenols, and saponins that act as an antioxidant and against inflammation.
Ingredients:
All ingredients are taken in equal proportion and water decoction is prepared using them in powdered form.

- Devdaru (Deodar Cedar or Himalayan Cedar) – Cedrus Deodara
- Aegle Marmelos – Bilva (Indian Bael)

- Gmelina Arborea – Gambhari (Beech wood/Kasmari)
- Solanum Indicum – Brihati (Indian Nightshade)
- Solanum Xanthocarpum – Kantakari
- Desmodium Gangeticum – Shalaparni
- Uraria Picta – Prishnaparni
- Tribulus Terrestris – Gokshura
- Pippali Fruit (Long pepper) – Piper Longum
- Pippali Roots (Piplamool) – Piper Longum
- Chavya (Java Long Pepper) – Piper Chaba
- Chitrak – Plumbago Zeylanica
- Sonth – Zingiber Officinale
- Yavakshara – Barley (Hordeum Vulgare) Kshaar
Properties and Uses:
It used in the Ayurvedic treatment of fever, relieves abdominal bloating, gaseous distention, gulma, abdominal pain, improves digestion, improves strength and immunity also useful in stomach pain, nausea, Chronic gastritis, GERD, gastric and duodenal ulcer also helps expelling the trapped gases in the alimentary canal and provides relief from abdominal cramps, pain, and gaseous distension.
Dosage and Anupan:
Dose should be 5ml – 10 ml, before food or on empty stomach, OD or BD as per condition.
Side effects: There is no side effect yet reported but on high dose it can cause gastritis.
Shelf life: Maximum upto 3 years from the date of manufacturing
