Dhootapapeshwar Anandabhairav Rasa is a unique ayurvedic herbomineral tablet formulation where hingula (Cinnabar) is used as the key ingredient. Hingula is extracted from mercury and is considered the most versatile form of mercury because of its 'Yogavahi' property whereby the drugs attain the capability to penetrate into the cells and destroy all sorts of derangement within the microcellular level itself.

Moreover, the Hingula used in this formulation has rejuvenating and aphrodisiac properties which help in the nourishment of the whole body. Vatsanabha (Aconite) used in this formulation acts as a Rasayan (rejuvenator), balya (provides strength), deepana (enhances digestion), pachana (appetiser) and it help in reducing pain and inflammation.

Tankana (borax) is alkaline in nature and is also an excellent 'kaphanissaraka' (disintegrates Kapha Dosha) thereby making this formulation an excellent drug of choice for aggravated Kapha disorders such as cough, asthma etc.

All the drugs used in this formulation have a Vata Kapha Hara (alleviates Vata and Kapha Dosha) property by which the mucus accumulated in the microchannels gets disintegrated and promotes the normal movement of Vata dosha.

It is widely used in the treatment of fever associated with diarrhoea and other upper Respiratory tract disorders, Being a 'kaphahara' (Kapha Dosha alleviating) Rasakalpa it is very useful in the treatment of fever, Rhinitis, heaviness of the head, anorexia, chest pain, galashotha (Swelling of the throat), sotha of shwasanalika (inflammation of upper Respiratory tract).

It is also indicated in rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. It is also very effective in disorders associated with teeth eruption such as Fever, cough, diarrhoea etc.
