Indukantham Kashayam - It is used to treat abdominal spasms, intestinal gas, bloating, abdominal distension and loss of appetite.
This is an Ayurvedic formulation medicine in water decoction form. It is used to treat abdominal spasms, intestinal gas, bloating, abdominal distension and loss of appetite. It provides strength, increases immunity and improves complexion and glow. A research conducted on Indukantam kashayam detected carbohydrates, phenols, and saponins that act as an antioxidant and against inflammation.

- Putika - Holoptelea integrifolia
- Daru – Cedrus deodara
- Dashamoola – group of ten herbs
- Bilva – Aegle marmelos
- Agnimantha – Premna mucronata
- Shyonaka – Oroxylum indicum
- Patala – Stereospermum suaveolens
- Gambhari – Gmelina arborea
- Brihati – Solanum indicum
- Kantakari – Solanum xanthocarpum
- Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris
- Shalaparni – Desmodium gangeticum
- Prishnaparni – Uraria picta
- Pippali. - Long pepper – Piper longum
- Chavya - Piper chaba Hunter / brachystachyum
- Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica
- Nagara – Ginger – Zingiber officinalis
- Yavakshara – Kshara of Hordeum vulgare
Properties and Uses:
It used in the Ayurvedic treatment of fever, relieves abdominal bloating, gaseous distention, gulma, abdominal pain, improves digestion. Indukantham Kashayam mainly acts on the stomach, liver and intestines. It acts as carminative and antispasmodic, which helps expelling the trapped gases in the alimentary canal and provides relief from abdominal cramps, pain, and gaseous distension.
Dosage and Anupan:
Dose should be 5ml – 10 ml, before food or on empty stomach, once or twice a day
Side effects:
There is no side effect yet reported but on high dose it can cause gastritis and Indukantham Kashayam contains some ingredients, which may stimulate uterine contractions and promote menstrual flow so avoided in pregnant women.

Atleast 3 years from the date of manufacturing
