Baidyanath Jhansi Kanakasava is a liquid Ayurvedic medicinal formulation extensively employed for the treatment of various ailments such as asthma, chest infections, persistent cough, chronic fevers, and bleeding disorders. Its preparation involves the fermentation of medicinal herb juices by incorporating substances like jaggery, honey, or sugar, along with Mahua flowers, Dhai flowers, or babul bark, within a water-based solution. The fermentation process entails sealing the mixture in containers, which are either buried in the ground or covered with husk, and allowing it to ferment for about a month before undergoing filtration. During fermentation, natural alcohol is generated, facilitating the extraction of active medicinal compounds from the key ingredients and acting as a natural preservative.
