Karpuradi Tailam of Kottakal Arya Vaidya sala is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicinal oil. It mainly contains Til tailam (Sesamum indicum) and karpura (Cinnamomum camphora). Karpura is sheeta in veerya, Madhura, tikta, and katu rasa Pradhan while Tila tailam has high penetrating power hence it can be administered to each and every cell in the body.

It is indicated for external use only. This medication is available in 200 ml bottle packaging. It balances the Vata dosha hence used as shola prashamak. In old age people it provides relief from joint pain. In the Panchkarma procedure, it is used in local abhyanga during Nasyam karma. It is beneficial in acute migraine pain attacks.

Kottakal Karpuradi tailam helps in relieving numbness in muscles. This medicinal oil acts as an excellent pain reliever. It can be used in osteoarthritis and rheumatic arthritis. In case of chest congestion, cough, cold, asthma, allergic conditions, or sneezing three to five drops of Kottakal Karpuradi Tailam is poured in hot steaming water and used for vapourization or steam inhalation purposes.

Karpura acts as a powerful nasal and chest decongestant. It helps in balancing Kapha dosha because of its Tikta rasa. It helps in muscular spasms and stiffness.
