Kottakkal Annabhedi Sinduram Capsule is an Ayurvedic Classical Medicine manufactured by Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal. It is described in Rasa Tarangani Chapter 21, Shloka 231 to 233. It has Vata-Kaphaghna and Grahi Karma as it contains Chincha, Amlavetasa, Amrataka, Kanya, etc.

It can be used in Mutrakrecha. As it contains Annabhedi or Ferri sulphus it can be indicated in Pandu, it helps in the formation of Prashastha Rasa and Rakta Dhatu, increases Jataragni, reduces Dhatudourbalya and Dhatvagni mandya thus combating Pandu Samprapati. Due to its Vata-Kaphaghna, and Kledahar properties, it reduces Kandu it can act as Kandughana.

It also has Krimighana properties due to Tikta Rasa and Kashaya Rasa, Kaphaghna Karya. Kottakkal Annabhedi Capsule has Raja pravartak Karya as it contains Kumari, and Chincha, which induces ovulation, helps in the easy flow of Raja and combats Rakta Kshaya associated during Raja straav, causes Vata Anuloman, regulates Apana Vata gati thus can be used in various Menstrual Disorders.

As it contains Annabhedi,  Vrikshamla, Kumari, etc it has Balya Karma, helps in the Poshan of Dhatu, and provides Bala to the patient. Due to its Tikta Rasa,  Deepan, and Pachan Karma it has Jwaraghna Karma, it reduces Jwara Vega and also deals with post fever fatigue, Dourbalya,  Jataragni Mandya,  Dhatvagni mandya, etc. Annabhedi Sinduram Capsule can also be indicated in Pleeha Roga.
