    Kottakkal Devadarvyarishtam - It is used in the treatment of various fungal skin infections, Haemorrhoids & Anorectal disorders, and chronic urinary tract disorders.

    Kottakkal Devadarvarishta is an Ayurvedic self fermented medicine, traditionally used to treat skin diseases especially occurring due to complication of diabetes. Devadaru is the chief herb in Devadarvarishta. Also called as Devadarvyarishtam.

    Properties and Uses:

    Shastrokta Uses: Prameha, Vataroga, Grahni Dosha, Arsha, mootrakrichta, Kandu, Kustha,
    Diabetic neuropathy, UTI (Urinary tract infection), eczema, indigestion and constipation.

    Dosages and Anupaan:

    It should be taken in a dose of 12 to 25 ml along with an equal quantity of water or as prescribed by Vaidya.

    Side effects:

    A single dosage of more than 50 ml causes gastrointestinal disturbances and diarrhea.

    Shelf life:

    10 years. A bottle should be emptied within 90 months of opening.
