Saraswatarishta is an Ayurvedic tonic which has Brahmi as a main ingredient. It is used to treat various health problems and contains 5–10% of self-generated alcohol. This tonic works as an elixir for the human body as its benefits are immense. Properties and Uses

Sarswatarishta has several beneficial health properties like; Anti-Depressive

Anti-aging, Antioxidant, Anti-Inflammatory, Neuro-protective, Anti-dementia, Anticonvulsant

Analgesic, Adaptogenic, Immuno-stimulatory, Cardioprotective and cardio tonic and Hepatoprotective. It balances vata, Pitta and kapha inside the body.

In Ayurvedic practice, Baidyanath Sarswatarista widely used to treat diseases like Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, loss of memory, Epilepsy, Used in convulsions, Nervous debility, Stammering, Insomnia, lack of sleep, depression and Seminal weakness.

In Post menopausal syndrome, regular usage of this arishta reduces the symptoms of PMS like fatigue, depression and insomnia.

Dosages and Anupan

12-25 ml two times a day with equal amount of water.

In Children: 5 to 10 ml two times a day.

Side effects

There are no side effects reported with this medicine in prescribed dose.

Children may feel slightly warmth or sweating episodes during initial days of taking Sarswatarishta.

You may have hiccups soon after taking this medicine. In such condition, you can add some more water to it while taking it.
